“If we lose freedom here, there’s no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth.” (Ronald Reagan)

Obama’s Socialist Edict

February 6th, 2009 · No Comments

Take a wild guess. Which quotation is attributable to Barack Hussein Obama (DOB: 1961; birthplace, unknown) and which was spoken by Ronald Wilson Reagan (DOB: on this date, 1911; birthplace, Tampico, IL)?

“There will be time for (American financial institutions) to make profits, and there will be time for them to get bonuses. Now is not that time.” (2009)

“I think it’s time we ask ourselves if we still know the freedoms that were intended for us by the Founding Fathers. If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. … And this idea that government is beholden to the people, that it has no other source of power except to sovereign people, is still the newest and most unique idea in all the long history of man’s relation to man.” (1964)

The eloquent remarks from 1964 were imparted by a deceased Patriot, our 40th President. The Socialist edict from a few days ago was handed down by a deranged President, the 44th, but perhaps the first American President openly defiant of the Constitution.

Be ever vigilant.
