The Obama Effect

February 12th, 2010 · No Comments

Lost in the parade of bad news from Toyota was the poignant irony found in its recall of 400,000+ Prius hybrid vehicles. I walked past one today in a parking garage. Like seemingly thousands of these cars symbolizing environmental correctness it had an “Obama 08″ sticker affixed in the rear.

I’ve seen so many Prius cars driven by the Obamatrons I began to wonder if it was an optional package, the “Obama 08 Edition”.

And now we learn the brakes don’t always work. Well, duh. Has there been any stopping the Socialist madness that ensued after Obama duped more than 50% of American voters? Does he ever tap the brakes on anything? Does he ever slow down his perpetual campaign, his World TelePrompter Tour?

Only a candidate in a gasoline powered pickup truck, Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown, was capable of bringing Obama’s intended hijacking of the U.S. economy (disguised as health insurance reform) to a screeching halt. Obama derided Brown and his truck, thinking his legion of followers in their dangerous Priuses would prevail.

He was wrong. The Obama Effect is beginning to reveal itself. Like some of the Toyotas on our roads, Obama was delivered with hidden defects. But the truth is coming out. Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) recently expressed concern that he can no longer believe Obama.

The Obama Effect snatches defeat from the jaws of victory (New Jersey, Virginia, Massachusetts and Chicago’s 2016 Olympic bid). The Obama Effect kills jobs. It spreads wealth around. Yours. Why, it might even shut down Las Vegas.

Consider these recent headlines:

Bipartisan Jobs Bill Short on Making Jobs

Plan to use Stimulus Funds for iPods Aborted

Ritz-Carlton to Close Five-Diamond Las Vegas Hotel

How do we neutralize the Obama Effect? Obama won’t stop. So we must stop him.

Recall 2012.
